Can I drive over the hose?
How tough is it?
It’s suprising how many people ask us this. The answer is simple – no problem at all!
We use very tough PU hose that has no problem for cars or lorries to drive over it. We use about 120m of hose so we can reach from the van to the furthest windows. This hose has water (sometimes heated) pumped through it at 100 psi, so it is not your regular flimsy garden hose.
However we do appreciate it if you don’t park on the hose.
So there is no problem to drive over the hose, what no-one has yet invented is a way to stop the hose getting snagges on every possibl thing from dustbin wheels to steps! Window cleaning has advanced such a long way, maybe that will be the next game-changing invention!
